Your donation will enable us to buy essential medicines and medical supplies. It will also enable us to bring medical professionals such as doctors and dentists and also willing and able volunteers who are not able to afford the trip.
PROJECT: 2018 marked 24 years of bringing the Gospel in a tangible way to the poor. The ARMS vision began in 1994 when Pastor Glenn Kennedy led a small team of doctors, dentists, pastors and support personnel on a mission trip to the Philippines. Our goal was to support and assist the poorer churches in impoverished communities. The needs in the poorer communities were apparent and the local churches lacked the resources to reach out to the material need of the destitute and poor. ARMS’ approach is to come along side the churches in these communities and assist them in providing for their deep physical and spiritual needs.
Further, A.R.M.S. supports orphanages and hospitals with material supplies, clothing and equipment. Our organization affords an opportunity for volunteers to participate in meaningful charitable operations and to have a “hands on” experience in touching the lives of those in need both in “word and deed.” During each of our humanitarian outreaches we distribute rice, salt, clothing, medicines, vitamins, Bibles, tracts, health care products and literature with no strings attached. Plus, we train rural health care personnel to deal with health issues where medical care is limited. The hallmark of our mission is reaching the lost for Christ.
We have treated the sick, provided free dental care, assisted in planting churches and shared the Gospel in over hundreds of communities throughout the Philippine islands and Cambodia. Since 1994, we’ve treated over 125,000 people in our medical outreaches, over 42,000 in our dental clinics, and presented the Gospel to everyone who attended. We’ve also given out over 40,000 Bibles. Of these 125,000 people; 53,000 made a profession of faith. When we select a community to receive our assistance we first connect with local government officials, pastors, and medical personnel to assure that we will not only be able to provide the needed physical care but we will also be allowed to share the gospel. This connection helps ensure that our vision of reaching the lost is fulfilled and it lays the foundation for a follow-up ministry that occurs after we depart the country.
